Meet the Team
The Leicester Bible Institute is the result of a dream and a desire to help prepare more Saints for service in the Kingdom of God. It is a cooperative effort between the Sunset International Bible Institute, Green Lawn Church of Christ - both in Lubbock, Texas, and the Leicester Church of Christ, in Leicester, England.
Mike Wilson, Director
Mike & Katya Wilson reside in Lubbock, Texas, USA. Mike is a graduate of Adventures In Missions (AIM) and Sunset School of Preaching (SSOP, now SIBI). He also has a BS in Bible & Ministry and an MS in Family Life Education from Lubbock Christian University. Mike has served in ministry for over 30 years. Currently Mike serves as a deacon for missions at the Green Lawn Church of Christ in Lubbock.
Sunset International Bible Institute
Mike and Paul sign a contract with SIBI President Tim Burow and Dean of International Studies Doug Reeves. SIBI has been training evangelists, missionaries, and ministers of the gospel for over 60 years. SIBI has partner schools in over 40 nations.
Leicester Bible Institute is the 93rd partner school and the first one in the United Kingdom.
Paul Hill, Coordinator
Paul & Janet Hill reside in Loughborough, England. Paul is a graduate of the British Bible School. He has been instrumental in church planting and strengthening congregations for over 30 years. He currently serves as the minister for the Leicester Church of Christ.
